Daniel Luttringer - NRL Match Official #168
Daniel Luttringer is set to make his debut as NRL Match Official #168, officiating on the touchline for the Bulldogs vs. Warriors match at Accor Stadium this Saturday.
Daniel began his refereeing career with Parramatta Referees in 2009, quickly establishing himself as a dedicated and promising young official. His commitment to training and officiating both on and off the field earned him the Rookie of the Year award in his inaugural year.
In 2011, Daniel was named Bob Jones Most Improved Senior, and he also secured the Trainer of the Year award in both 2009 and 2013. His career took a significant step forward in 2012 when he was selected for the NSWRL Junior Representative Squad, where he officiated various grand finals as an in-goal official in the Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions.
Throughout his time at Parramatta Referees, he held various board positions and roles within the Association, consistently contributing wherever possible. His efforts were further acknowledged with the Parramatta Referees Darkie McCall award in 2011 and 2017.
Daniel’s peers recognised his abilities, voting him Parramatta Referee’s Referee in 2013, 2014, and 2015. In 2016 he officiated the district game number one game, and in 2017, he was promoted to the NSW High-Performance Squad as member #1007.
In 2019, Daniel was honored with life membership in the Parramatta Referees Association, becoming life member #72. His career continued to ascend as he reached NSW Cup and took on numerous NRL standby & NRLW touch lines. Daniel officiated the Sydney Shield Grand Final in both 2022 and 2023, amassing a total of 229 graded games to date.
On July 6, Daniel will achieve another major milestone in his career as he steps onto the field at Accor Stadium as NRL Match Official #168.
Daniel’s determination and character are a true testament to himself. He has worked extremely hard to get to this moment. Everyone at Parramatta Referees will be cheering him on!
