2026 Season Launch – A Night of Renewal and Recognition

Last Thursday 12th February, Parramatta Referees officially launched the 2026 season in spectacular fashion at Lantana Venues. With more than 70 members, sponsors and special guests in attendance, the evening was a fitting way to bring everyone together ahead of a new year and to unveil our 2026 apparel.

Guests enjoyed a three-course Lebanese-style meal, live music and the stunning surrounds of Lantana Venues, creating a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere to reconnect before the season begins in earnest. The event was designed to be casual yet meaningful – a chance to acknowledge the people who support our Association while building excitement for what lies ahead.

We were privileged to welcome the majority of our sponsors on the night:

  • Stephen Bull - PARRA Group (Parra Leagues)
  • David Succar - Jericho Group
  • Frank & TIna Micali - Franky & Co
  • Brent Wallace - Beyond Bank Australia
  • Josh Vanderkroef - Roomia Self Storage
  • Bernard Biala - Biala Tax

Stephen Bull opened the evening by addressing the guests and acknowledging the continued commitment of the Parramatta Leagues Club and the broader PARRA Group to Parramatta Referees. In particular, he recognised the funding support that enabled every referee and coach in the room to receive their 2026 uniform at no cost – a significant investment in our people. This year’s uniform is also the first to feature the PARRA Group’s new master brand logo, further reflecting the strength of our partnership.

Throughout the night, members and guests were given a deeper insight into our sponsors and their stories. Each sponsor participated in a Q&A session, sharing their professional journeys and explaining why they are so invested in the development of Parramatta Referees and community sport more broadly. It was an opportunity for our members to connect with the people behind the brands and better understand the relationships that help sustain our Association.

Following their Q&A sessions, each sponsor was invited to unveil a different set of our 2026 apparel by pulling the covers off the mannequins. The staggered reveals created anticipation across the room and allowed everyone to take in the detail and design of the new range as it was progressively showcased throughout the evening.

The 2026 Season Launch was a strong and positive way to begin the year – bringing our community together, recognising those who support us and introducing a fresh look that reflects the energy and sense of renewal heading into the season ahead.
